Guide
Which football prediction app to choose in 2026?
Every football prediction app promises to be right. Few prove it. Here are five criteria to choose, then a table of four tools limited to what their own pages state. For the general AI assistants, see the comparison of AIs for analysing a match.
Read on 28/10/2026 on the tools' pages. Prices and plans may have changed since.
The 5 criteria
- Published accuracy, misses included. A percentage without the number of matches or the method proves nothing. Look for a match-by-match record dated before kick-off.
- Real, recent data. Form, squads, absentees, head-to-head, player stats: the more a prediction rests on dated facts, the less it looks like a hunch.
- An explained method. A goals model (Poisson), an Elo rating, a blend with the market consensus: any of them is fine, but the tool must say so.
- Your language and your competitions. A tool that is great on English football does not help if you follow Ligue 1, or the other way round.
- A readable price. Credits that run out, trials that need a card, hidden pricing: look at what you really pay for a month of use.

Our view, with our limits
Copafever is for people who want to understand a match before watching it, with figures that can be checked. Our record starts with the 2026/27 season: it rests on fewer matches than Footlab AI's, and we show it as it is on the Methodology page.
- You mostly follow European football and Ligue 1: Copafever is built for that.
- You want live scores and raw stats: Sofascore is made for that.
- You want the widest coverage in the world: Footlab AI covers far more competitions than we do.
- You want a prediction during the match: Elofoot offers live.
FAQ
What is the best football prediction app?
It depends on what you need: worldwide coverage, live scores, or a clear match analysis with verifiable accuracy. Compare tools on five criteria: published accuracy, data, method, languages and competitions, price.
How do I check that a prediction app is reliable?
Look for the number of matches behind the percentage, the calculation method and a record dated before the matches. At Copafever the record is public on the Methodology page, misses included.
Is Copafever a betting site?
No. Copafever shows no odds and links to no betting site: it analyses matches.
Can I try Copafever for free?
Yes. Every match's prediction is public and a free analysis comes with sign-up.
